Mind Mapping

Our team did the task with our beloved Miro. Miro makes tasks seem like games. Mind mapping exercise helped us develop new ideas, which we later used in our upcoming assignments. Because of mind mapping, we found new ways we can contact our potential users. We also gained new ideas on how to make our app easier and fun to use. Mind mapping is something every startup without even realizing. However, writing everything down helps us improve and develop new ideas.

Design Challenge

Following the given instructions and understanding our main challenge, we came up with this design challenge:

“How might we address the complicated process of finding therapists and finding clients for therapists trying to increase their network and for people seeking psychological help to make the process simple and financially beneficial for both sides?”

Brainstorming

What do you think we used to have the best possible brainstorming experience online? I know it was a stupid question… Miro, of course. We are turning into a Miro fan account.
After having the most fun brainstorming experience ever, we came together to choosing and combining the best ideas. With the help of Affinity Mapping, Dot Voting, and NUF test, we decided the wildest and the most exciting ideas we had. Brainstorming was, for sure, one of our favorite tasks we have had so far.

Developed Concepts

After Affinity Mapping, Dot Voting, and NUF testing, we wrote down 5 of our best ideas.

  1. A platform where therapists will fill out forms for placing announcements, like in job searching websites, and people can review them and decide which one contact.
  2. Group sessions conducted with people who have the same issues and are okay sharing their problems with others. It will cost less than a one-o-one session with a therapist for obvious reasons. (Sometimes people need to know that they are not alone to feel better).

3. A weekly “party” where both therapists and clients find a suitable match for them by cup color. It will indicate both issues and prices for the therapy.

4. An app where people post what type of psychological problem they have and how much they are ready to get psychological support. Then, therapists find suitable clients and contact them. This way, therapists can find people with the willingness to pay, which they want, and clients can initially state how much they can or want to pay.

5. An agency which will accept calls from clients and find suitable therapists for them.
